KEUCO STAGELINE

Illuminated storage compartments set the scene for decoration and favourite products

Furniture range STAGELINE made by KEUCO: homely staging

The STAGELINE furniture collection made by KEUCO brings a homely atmosphere to the bathroom. Here, the furniture takes centre stage, combining timelessly beautiful design with homely accents. The visual highlight of the series is an open, illuminated storage compartment that skilfully showcases decorative items and favourite products. The warm white LED lighting with 3,000 Kelvin is controlled externally via the room switch. Practical equipment features include the power socket integrated in the compartment and the USB and USB-C charging point.

Different colour and style worlds

As a comprehensive KEUCO furniture range, designed by the design office Tesseraux + Partner, Potsdam, STAGELINE is linearly modern and simply elegant in a tone-in-tone look. The glass front and body of the furniture are always kept in one colour, radiating calmness and harmony. The natural colours are completely in, keeping up with the trend, beyond any fashion. Gently restrained, warmly homely and yet expressive. Friends of the colours white and anthracite will also find the counterpart for their style world here. The glass fronts of the furniture give every bathroom a noble accent – whether brilliantly shiny or velvety matt. There are four glass surfaces to choose from: white or cashmere glossy as well as Inox or Vulkanit satin.

Handleless and filigree glass fronts

The STAGELINE furniture collection also proves its uniqueness in its attention to detail. The slightly protruding glass front at the top also serves as a handle for opening and closing. The delicate glass fronts, with their softly rounded corners, are striking and echo the design language of the matching PLAN ceramic washbasin. The pull-out fronts are equipped with a soft-closing mechanism and close gently and silently.

Flexible storage system for overview and order

The vanity unit proves to be a real tidying talent. The pull-out unit with optional drawer partitioning ensures intelligent and optimal use of space in the unit. The desired interior compartment can be flexibly put together in four different sizes for cleverly organised storage space. The elegant dark inlay mat is an ideal non-slip surface.

Combination with different washbasins

White, flush-fitting PLAN ceramic washbasins or round STAGELINE ceramic countertop washbasins in glossy white or black can be combined with the STAGELINE washbasin bases – according to taste and personal style. Together with the round STAGELINE countertop washbasin, the vanity unit also offers a generous, additional storage surface. Single-lever mixers can be placed to the right or left of the washbasin. Alternatively, a wall-mounted spout fitting can also be combined.

In combination with the matching PLAN ceramic washbasins, the STAGELINE vanity units open up a wide range of possibilities for washbasin design. In six different widths from 460 mm to 1200 mm, the washbasin ensemble offers the right solution for every bathroom – from the small guest WC to the large family bathroom, as a single washbasin or double washbasin, combinable with wall-mounted spout fittings, single-lever mixers or three-hole fittings. The PLAN ceramic washbasins impress with their very flat, filigree design in a soft shape. The generous shelf surface merges smoothly into the washbasin centre. The ceramic valve cover harmonises perfectly. As an extremely easy-care material, ceramic porcelain stoneware meets the highest demands in terms of resilience and hygiene.

Other homely STAGELINE furniture

STAGELINE offers three additional pieces of furniture for larger storage space requirements and a special desire for a homely atmosphere: a tall unit, a single-door unit and a two-door centre unit. The tall unit looks very elegant with its illuminated shelf in the middle. As with the vanity unit, bottles and jars or decorative elements can be illuminated. All cabinets feature soft-close hinges and high-quality, easy-care glass shelves inside.

In combination with the fittings and accessories made by KEUCO, diverse and multifaceted possibilities open up in bathroom design.

Zencha by Sebastian Herkner

Zencha by Sebastian Herkner: A homage to mindfulness and traditional craftsmanship
Perfectly balanced bathroom design that flatters the senses with tactile surfaces

  • Inspired by Japanese rituals and craftsmanship
  • Organically shaped sanitary objects
  • Minimalistic, modular storage furniture
  • Selected finishes from wood to textured glass
  • High-quality materials such as DuraCeram® and DuraSolid® for optimum look and feel
  • Bathtubs with a pool-like feeling

The outstanding design of the Zencha bathroom collection by Sebastian Herkner was inspired by traditional Japanese rituals and craftsmanship and combines unusual above-counter basins with minimalistic furniture. The most striking feature of the basins and bathtub is the rounded shape that opens into a graceful, outward-curving edge. The dual-walled sanitary objects made from DuraCeram® and DuraSolid® are paired with modular, geometric bathroom furniture with an elegant frame. The furniture is made from materials such as wood and textured glass and not only offers plenty of storage space, but is also extremely pleasant to the touch. “I’ve always wanted to develop a bathroom series for Duravit,” said the designer from Offenbach. He can now take his place in the roll-call of renowned designers such as Philippe Starck and Cecilie Manz who have designed collections for the German manufacturer.

Striking & delicate: the design
The bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the house. It is increasingly becoming a place of retreat and ritual. With its balanced shapes, colors, and materials, Zencha appeals to all of our senses. The inspiration for the design are hand-made ceramic teacups that the designer discovered in Japan. Their gentle, organic shapes are transposed on to the sanitary objects in abstract form. Designed as cambered rectangles, they are bulbous at the bottom and taper upwards with an elegant curve. The materials used are equally sensual, with basins manufactured from DuraCeram®. This material enables above-counter basins with an extremely thin rim thickness to be created that are robust and extremely easy to care for. Seamlessly manufactured from DuraSolid®, the bathtubs impress with their pleasantly warm feel and elegant matt aesthetic.

The straight-lined design of the furniture creates an intriguing contrast to the organic sanitary objects and complements the collection’s subtle material and color concept. The outstanding design feature here is an elegant frame just six millimeters thick. It creates a uniform shadow gap that lends the furniture a graceful and effortless feel. “You can only manufacture technically sophisticated solutions like this in a consistent quality if, like Duravit, you have your own manufacturing facilities with the corresponding expertise and high levels of craftsmanship,” said Herkner.

Multi-faceted & functional: modular furniture elements

The furniture of the Zencha collection is designed in a modular fashion and can be deployed in a variety of ways, for instance as open shelves or drawers with push-open and self-closing technology. Combined with the above-counter basin, they become a beautiful centerpiece in the bathroom. As a storage area for everyday (bathroom) items, they give structure to the room and imbue coziness into various styles. The carcass and frame of the furniture come with an easy-to-clean surface and anti-fingerprint effect and are available in the subtle colors White Super Matt, Taupe Super Matt, and Graphite Super Matt. The cabinet fronts add a playful element and are offered in a range of variants. While the options in Natural Oak and Oak Black produce a warm and tactile effect, white plate glass and black textured glass introduce a degree of sensual elegance into the bathroom. Herkner has further designed a separate mirror that emulates the contour of the round basins. Its organic form is accentuated by an all-round LED strip, and the light is turned on and off via a sensor on the bottom edge of the mirror.

Elegant above-counter basins
The sanitary objects made from DuraCeram® consist of two differently shaped above-counter basins: a curved square measuring 420 x 420 mm and a rounded rectangle measuring 550 x 390 mm – in each case with or without a tap panel – in the colors White, White Satin Matt, Gray Satin Matt, and Anthracite Matt. The square variant of the above-counter basin with its ceramic cover is a particular talking point in the bathroom, and is also covered by Duravit’s lifetime warranty. It can be combined with toilets from a range of Duravit lines.

Bathtubs with a pool-like feeling
The shape of the square version of the free-standing bathtub, made from DuraSolid® and measuring 1250 x 1250 mm, is drawn from the square above-counter basin. Bathers are invited to immerse themselves blissfully into the deep water, an experience reminiscent of a Japanese Onsen bath. The bathtub is additionally available in two compact versions measuring 1600 x 850 mm and 1800 x 900 mm, optionally with the air whirl system integrated into the base for a gentle massage effect.

Made in Germany

The Zencha collection combines delicate shapes with high-quality, sustainable materials such as PEFC-certified woods. It comes in a wide range of variants and its shapes, colors, materials, measurements, and equipment options can be individually configured for various interior design settings. Both the sanitary objects and the furniture are manufactured at Duravit’s production facilities in Hornberg and Schenkenzell in the Black Forest and are finished by hand. Surfaces and edges of the furniture are painstakingly sealed to be water-resistant and are impervious to splashes and high humidity. Optimum stability of the tall cabinets is ensured via 8mm-thick rear walls that are bonded in a milled groove.

Sebastian Herkner, who spent over four years working on the project and made several site visits with his team, said: “Duravit represents tradition as well as expertise in the design and technical sectors.”

Soleil by Starck: A bathroom range with the air of a day at the beach

Elegant and intelligent design for all tastes in an attractive price segment

  • Design by Philippe Starck
  • Refined lines and relaxed aesthetics
  • Compact range with flexible combination options
  • Attractive price in the medium price segment
  • Ideal for everyday use and easy to clean
  • Lifetime guarantee on all ceramics
  • Free-standing bathtub, fully pre-assembled

Just like that carefree and relaxed feeling you get from a short break by the sea: Duravit’s new Soleil by Starck bathroom series creates a natural and comforting atmosphere with its subtle and elegant lines. The compact product range, which includes washbasins, toilets, and bathtubs, provides a new option in bathroom design that is suffused with natural softness. Elegant and timelessly modern, the design of Soleil by Starck is a flexible fit with a wide range of furnishing styles. This continues Duravit’s approach, already proven with Starck 3 and ME by Starck, of offering first-rate choice for bathroom projects at an attractive price point.

Washbasins with gentle contours – perfect for everyday use

When it comes to the washbasins, the form of the basin is reminiscent of dunes shaped by the wind. The gentle contours and fluid transitions create a subtle sense of space while also being easy to clean. The balanced proportions of the basin size, tap platform, and storage areas make the Soleil by Starck washbasins perfect everyday companions. The delicate external edge, which serves as overflow protection, also plays a part here. The range includes three sizes of washbasin with a matching semi-pedestal along with furniture washbasins, above-counter basins and built-in undercounter washbasins. A handrinse basin for guest toilets and small rooms completes the program. Duravit has additionally developed matching combination options for Soleil by Starck in the form of bathroom furniture in various price segments – for a more relaxed look with D-Neo or as a more elegant option with XSquare.

Refined toilet design with Hygieneplus

The finesse of the design is also apparent in the Soleil by Starck toilets with their delicate, slightly protruding lid that unobtrusively blends into the room. The lid closes gently and without noise thanks to the soft closure feature. It can also be gripped easily without the user having to touch the seat or ceramic – a key factor in enhancing hygiene. All wall-mounted toilets, including the space-saving model with a projection of just 540 mm, are fitted with the HygieneFlush technology that cleans the entire inner surface of the toilet optimally. The perfectly attuned water flow creates a vortex that guarantees an ideal flushing action at all times using 4.5 liters of water. The highly effective, antibacterial HygieneGlaze ceramic glaze ensures an even greater level of hygiene. Baked into the interior of the toilet, the glaze kills some 90 percent of pathogens within just six hours, and approximately 99.9 percent after 24 hours.

Bathtub comfort with a unique design

Philippe Starck has transposed the softness of the shape and the intimation of the outer edge of the washbasin to the design of the Soleil by Starck bathtubs. A number of options for a cost-effective Starck bathtub series within the product range are available – including a choice of materials with the built-in acrylic bathtubs and a free-standing bathtub made from DuraSolid®. The smooth design of the bathtub edge means all models are easy to clean.

The built-in bathtubs with a shaped recess for the head are available in various single-seater models as well as one two-seater model. Their dimensions make them easy to integrate into plans and they can also be fitted with the Air System.

The free-standing, oval bathtub with a length of 1600 mm is a highlight at this price segment. With its single-wall construction and finish, it saves space while still offering a comfortable interior. Its velvety look and feel perfectly showcase smaller bathrooms. A further benefit for the fitter is that the free-standing Soleil by Starck bathtub is delivered to the construction site in a fully pre-assembled state with leg frame and drain, meaning that ordering, installation, and fitting can be managed quickly and safely.

Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck, world famous creator with multifaceted inventiveness, is always focused on the essential, his vision: that creation, whatever form it takes, must improve the lives of as many people as possible. This philosophy has made him one of the pioneers and central figures of the concept of “democratic design”.

By employing his prolific work across all domains, from everyday products (furniture, a citrus squeezer, electric bikes, an individual wind turbine), to architecture (hotels, restaurants that aspire to be stimulating places) and naval and spatial engineering (mega yachts, habitation module for private space tourism), he continually pushes the boundaries and requirements of design, becoming one of the most visionary and renowned creators of the international contemporary scene.

Philippe Starck and his wife, Jasmine, spend most of their time on airplanes or in “middles of nowhere”.
