Morgan Swivel Lounge Chairs

Morgan Pimlico 144 Swivel Chairs

The Pimlico 144 fully upholstered swivel chairs, launched at Sleep 2017, are the most recent additions to Morgan’s collection of British made furniture. The Pimlico collection started as a bedroom chair designed by Morgan Studio, with a small footprint and has developed to include feature high backs and a variety of size options. Featuring smooth curved lines and a unique oval seat pad, the new fully upholstered lounge chair offers an extension to the curvaceous luxury of the collection, with a concealed swivel base.

Morgan Siena Swivel Chair

Also available with a subtle swivel is the Siena 650T lounge chair. With a larger footprint these lounge chairs are perfect for areas requiring a solid and comfortable chair that maintains its elegance through a flowing curved profile and tapered turned legs. A non-swivel option is also available; both chairs have the additional feature of a buttoned seat.

ON THE LEVEL

ON THE LEVELINFINITY I-LINE

The INFINITY I-Line eliminates the need for unsightly drains within a wet room environment. The state of the art shower floor, designed by On The Level in house experts, provides an elegant seamless finish. An extremely gentle sloping floor directs the water flow towards an almost invisible channel that edges the wall.  This subtle linear design provides one of the most minimalist wet room shower floors to date.

The INFINITY I-Line gives any bathroom a luxurious look and feel, the lack of a highly visible drainage system not only visually increases the feeling of space but physically gives the bather more standing room.   Manufactured in the UK from high grade stainless steel the INFINITY I-Line is easy to install, there are four different stock size formers each with multiple configurations and built in gradients, so no sitting water.  For larger rooms bespoke design options are available with dual outlet channel and the formers can manufactured up to 2000mm in length.

The design will work on all floor types, it has both left and right hand configuration options allowing the INFINITY I-Line to merge seamlessly into all types of floor and guarantees the latest look when it comes to high end wet room design.

DOMUS

Domus launches Geometrica

A pastel coloured porcelain tile collection

Launching at Domus in February, the Geometrica tile collection is a colourful glazed porcelain range with a matte concrete-effect finish. Inspired by artistic and architectural movements of the 20th century, the tiles show various motifs and design inspirations, from the Bauhaus to Pierre Chareau; from the Beat generation to a cyber-style. In an ‘alphabet of basic shapes’, Geometrica comprises five solid colours along with graphic patterns in a predominantly pastel coloured palette, with the addition of black.

Cement grey is the master colour of the collection while other colours include pink, blue, white and black. The patterns enable multiple layout options, allowing true personalisation with strong visual impact. All tiles are the same square shape and size: 15x15cm. The contemporary patterns include a grid, a circle, a T-shape, a triangle plus dots, lines, tubes and ‘birds’. Geometrica is an adaptable collection, a compendium of basic shapes that lend themselves to various formal, stylistic interpretations.

No matter how the tiles are arranged, the final design will always be interesting and unique, creating combinations that can be new every time. A number of combinations can be created by using the different elements through varied positioning on the floors and walls. Graphic flooring can be matched with a block colour wall and vice-versa. A gradation of colours can be created that starts out as a block colour on the floor and blends into graphic patterns on the wall. Or a floor can be designed where patterns are organised into geometric forms that gradually disperse randomly. Patterns can also be used to create other decorative elements within a room, such as headboards or splashbacks.

DURAVIT

The bathroom is a place where we often feel the need for structure and clarity. Where hygiene and cleanliness play a vital role, the colour white not only creates a brighter room but also a feeling of space. The positive qualities of pure white can be multiplied by overlaying tone on tone: a matt DuraSolid bathtub, glistening DuraCeram ceramics, and a white vanity unit can produce a harmonious light ambience. Towels or other accessories, such as patterned glass items, can generate interesting contrasts.
