Reframe Collection is  a unique series of bathroom accessories

Unidrain is one of the foremost drains manufactures in the world; their award winning products are available across the globe.  Stylish bathroom accessories are an intelligent addition to their offering and as such Unidrain worked with designer Kenneth Waaben to create the Reframe Collection.

This exclusive and unique collection of bathroom accessories is grounded in Scandinavian design and quality. Of the Reframe Collection Kenneth said “My approach to this design is based on a wish to improve and reframe the existing”.  He has done just that, by introducing new and intelligent features to these products he has improved their functionality within an elegant linear design.

Reframe Collection:

Soap Shelf & Shower Wiper – hidden magnets in the wall mounting ensure the safe and discrete storage of the silicone blade wiper, while the shelf above provides a platform for your showering essentials.

Towel Bar – place alongside your bath, shower or washbasin, with t’s unique mounting design this bar keeps towels stylishly in situ.

Hook – Discrete and effective, these perfectly shaped hooks will prevent towels and garments from slipping.

Toilet Paper Holder – this reversible holder means it can be positioned for your convenience.

Toilet Brush – Sleek design, hygienic functionality.  The toilet brush holder has an anti-drip function and for additional cleanliness an easily exchangeable brush head.

Available in five different colour options; copper, brass, brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel and black.

Reframe Collection

Domus hosted the official UK launch of new tile collection ‘Piano’ from Italian design house Mutina during Clerkenwell Design Week, 22^nd – 24^th May 2018. Created by French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Piano is a striking, colourful partially glazed porcelain tile collection available exclusively from Domus in the UK.

With the Piano collection, Mutina re-discovered the technology of double charged clay, enabling them to obtain different textural effects in a wide range of colours. The slight variation in size and specific use of glaze creates a ‘vibrating’ effect, similar to the shimmering image of reflections on the water, creating an optical illusion of a non-geometrical figure.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec describe Piano:

“The tiles can be fitted together at will, to create endless layout possibilities. Their random disposition is mysterious and creates the impression of a total continuation of space. This systemic rhythm always creates the space for originality.”

The collection is made with coloured clays to which layers of glaze are added in different widths. There are five base colours: white, grey, blue, green and pink and two rectangular sizes (7.5 x 30cm and 10 x 30cm). The tiles are arranged by colour and are grouped together by the lead colourway in the same box, this allows for the greatest variation and ability to create a vibrant fitted tile layout. Piano is suitable for floors and walls, both indoors and outdoors.

Introducing AQATA’s new DS500 Quintet shower enclosure

 February 2018, AQATA, the leading UK designer and manufacturer of premium quality shower enclosures, has expanded its Design Solutions range for 2018 to include the new DS500 Quintet. The uniquely five-sided shower enclosure fits perfectly into corners providing a contemporary design as well as maximising the bathroom’s floor area – creating a feeling of more space.

The DS500 Quintet enclosure has been introduced to the successfully established Design Solutions collection of luxury frameless 10mm shower enclosures and screens. Measuring 2010mm in height and available in two sizes: 900x900mm and 1200x900mm, the DS500 offers great versatility and can be ordered as a right or left hand opening. Continuous clear seals fit seamlessly between the glass and the hinges to provide a discreet seal and the frameless glass door has positive magnetic closing for watertight showering. Supplied with adjustable wall profiles as standard, this fitter-friendly option compensates for out of true walls – ideal for renovations and older properties.

The DS500 can be installed directly onto a tiled wetroom floor or onto a low level co-ordinating shower tray, which can be fitted fully flush or raised above the floor for easy access.

As part of the new Design Solutions offering, colour wall fixings are available in Gold, Polished Nickel and Brushed Nickel finishes as an alternative to chrome – providing greater choice and design flexibility.

Morgan Swivel Lounge Chairs

Morgan Pimlico 144 Swivel Chairs

The Pimlico 144 fully upholstered swivel chairs, launched at Sleep 2017, are the most recent additions to Morgan’s collection of British made furniture. The Pimlico collection started as a bedroom chair designed by Morgan Studio, with a small footprint and has developed to include feature high backs and a variety of size options. Featuring smooth curved lines and a unique oval seat pad, the new fully upholstered lounge chair offers an extension to the curvaceous luxury of the collection, with a concealed swivel base.

Morgan Siena Swivel Chair

Also available with a subtle swivel is the Siena 650T lounge chair. With a larger footprint these lounge chairs are perfect for areas requiring a solid and comfortable chair that maintains its elegance through a flowing curved profile and tapered turned legs. A non-swivel option is also available; both chairs have the additional feature of a buttoned seat.
